The teams who set up IGNA and Codgene are French pioneers in the identification of individuals based on biological samples or items found at crime scenes.
All the technicians and administrative staff, as well as our teams of experts, have many years of experience in their business sector.

This experience is an additional guarantee for you that the best adapted means are implemented in the treatment of the samples that you entrust us with.

As far as government contracts are concerned, we also benefit greatly from the experience that we have in France.
We were accepted for the supply of the Fichier National Automatisé des Empreintes Génétiques (FNAEG) [Automated National File of Genetic Prints] by :

• In 2005, we conducted 38,000 profilings (Strasbourg).
• In 2009, we conducted 125,000 profilings (Nantes).*

• Between 2006 and 2007, we conducted 103,500 profilings (Strasbourg).

• In 2005, we conducted 40,000 profilings in 12 weeks (Nantes).
• In 2007, we conducted 81,500 profilings (Strasbourg).
• In 2008, we conducted 48,000 profilings* (Nantes).
• In 2009, we were assigned a contract for convicted individuals. This contract has been renewed once, and can be renewed one more time. We have conducted 40,000 profilings* (Nantes).
• In 2009, we were assigned a contract, the object of which was the supply of FNAEG based on traces found at mass crime scenes. Until today, we have conducted more than 40,000 tests (Nantes).

Besides scientific competence, the execution of these contracts requires specific organisation and industrial methods.

To conduct all these additional tests in compliance with the norms and specifications, a handling capacity (equipment, premises, staff) and organisational competencies are essential.
